Get ready to dive into the top 7 Labor Day weekend events in Central Texas, from San Antonio to Belton. I’ve even thrown in a wild card from Galveston! 1. San Japan Anime Convention – San Antonio

What: A vibrant three-day anime, manga, and Far East pop-culture convention at the Henry B. González Convention Center (spanning hotels nearby). Expect cosplay, gaming, concerts, workshops, charity auctions, and more.

We’re starting close to home with a beautiful day trip from Austin to Mason, Texas – a Hill Country treasure filled with history, wine, and wide open skies.

Just a little over two hours from Austin, the quaint town of Mason, Texas, makes for the perfect one-tank escape. Known for its rolling Hill Country views, award-winning wines, and friendly small-town energy, Mason offers a relaxing reset without the need for a long-haul road trip.
