Throwback to that time we went camping Labor Day w Throwback to that time we went camping Labor Day weekend, and it ended up being 109 degrees. 🥵 We had a lakefront campsite at @rayrobertslakestatepark near Denton, TX, and we somehow survived for 2 nights. This is still our hardest camping trip to date (including the time we got lost while camping) and the only one without a vlog because all of our batteries drained from the heat. Do you enjoy camping? Throwback to my hubby’s first visit to @avosaltt Throwback to my hubby’s first visit to @avosaltt. I took him out for his birthday, and he wanted to give this restaurant a try. Of course, I’ve been before and love it! I had the Salt and Pepper wings, and he had the Salt and Pepper fish. I also tried their famous hurricane for the first time and fully understand now why there’s a limit of 2. 🥴 lol Plus, we let them know it was my hubby’s birthday, and they surprised him with a free slice of Turtle cheesecake! The food was delicious as always. *TIP* If you haven’t been before, the Salt and Pepper seasoning is on the spicy side. I visited @p6_austin yesterday to hang out with my I visited @p6_austin yesterday to hang out with my Wanderful ATX friends, and it was sooo beautiful! I was supposed to go tons of times before but never made it, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. 😍 🌅 I recommend this for the best sunset viewpoint in downtown Austin. PLUS, you can have an aerial view of the bats as they fly from under Congress Bridge. 🦇 We didn’t see the full colony of bats last night, but 3 little guys made a special appearance, flying right in front of us (outside the patio)! 🧀 We shared a charcuterie board, and I had the Sundown Cobbler and Mocking Bird cocktails. Everything was delicious.
